NineZero Games

Tennis

The NineZero Project is joining the World TeamTennis Recreational League presented by  Advanta to bring exciting tennis action to the NineZero Games. The WTT format is a fun, fast-paced co-ed team format that encourages equal contributions from both genders.

Join us October 11 & 12, 2008 at the following locations for this event:

Sun Lakes Country Club | 850 Country Club Drive Banning, CA 92220
K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons | 1528 Four Seasons Circle Beaumont, CA 92223
Solera | Beaumont, CA
Beaumont High School | 39139 Cherry Valley Blvd. Beaumont, CA 92223
San Gorgonio Middle School | 1591 Cherry Valley Blvd. Beaumont, CA 92223

How WTT Recreational League Works:

  • A team has a minimum of four players - two women, and two men.
  • The WTT format uses five or six no-ad sets - women’s and men’s doubles, women’s and men’s singles, and one or two sets of mixed doubles (no singles for senior’s division).
  • A match is won by the team with the most total games won at the end of the final set, unless the trailing team wins the final set. Should this occur, there is an Overtime rule that breaths life back into the trailing team. The final set continues into Overtime until the leading team wins one game or he trailing team ties the match score. If the score becomes tied, the match is decided by a Supertiebreaker.
  • For more information on the how to play WTT Recreational League tennis, please go to WTT.com or call 866-PLAY-WTT.

For the Kids: QuickStart Tennis
QuickStart Tennis is a new format to help kids 10 and under learn and play the game. To make it easier for them, we changed a few things. The court sizes. The racquet sizes. The balls. The scoring system. Even the net height. Now any child between ages five and 10 can start playing tennis almost immediately - even if he or she has never picked up a racquet before.
