A NineZero National Conference on
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders
at the NineZero Games!

The NineZero Games is all about education and the prevention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). This is why The Arc of Riverside County is hosting a NineZero Games Conference on FASD to discuss some of the best ways to prevent it.
The conference is divided into two identical sessions, allowing conference attendees to select a time that best fits their schedule. The times are:

Invited speakers:
Jan Campbell
Jan Campbell, SPHN, MCAH director, for San Luis Obispo County Department of Health, chairs the statewide organization of MCAH directors and heads a successful collaborative of public and private entities whose goal it is to educate the community and decrease prenatal alcohol and other drug exposure in her home country.
Teresa Kellerman
Teresa and her son John, a Lakota Sioux man with FASD, are international FSAD educators. Teresa is the FSAD state coordinator for Arizona, FAS trainer for the U.S. Department of Health, serves on the boards of the Pima Council on Developmental Disabilities and produces workshops, and offers consultation and classroom presentations.
Diane Malbin
Diane is an author and clinical social worker, program developer, and consultant who provides information and services for individuals, families and agencies. Research findings of improved outcomes for people with FAS/ARND, based on her work, have been presented nationally and internationally. She teaches and consults with parents, educators, health and social service providers, treatment professionals and other across the U.S. and Canada.
Who will benefit from attending?
If you are a teacher or an administrator and recognize the importance of this topic; or if you would like the perfect project for your students that teaches poise, self-confidence and public speaking, this conference is for you. Others involved in any aspect of FASD treatment or prevention should also attend. Finally, youth counselors and facilitators of programs for youth groups in the community can benefit.

Two sessions with repeated content will be provided. Only register for the morning or afternoon session.
